Julien Jeanpierre
Julien Jeanpierre (born 10 March 1980) is a former professional tennis player from France. Junior career Jeanpierre was a world number one ranked junior and had wins over Roger Federer, Lleyton Hewitt and David Nalbandian during his junior years. In 1996, he was the U16 Orange Bowl champion. He and Arnaud Di Pasquale were doubles runners-up in the 1997 French Open. The Frenchman won both the boys' singles and doubles titles at the 1998 Australian Open. In the singles he defeated Sweden's Andreas Vinciguerra in the final and in the doubles he partnered Jérôme Haehnel. Karol Beck (born 3 April 1982) is a male former tennis player from Slovakia, who turned professional in 2001. His career-high singles ranking is World No. 36, achieved in August 2005. The 2004 French Open was the 108th edition of the tournament. Gastón Gaudio became the first men's Open Era Grand Slam title winner to save two match points in the final; the last time that had happened was 70 years earlier. Gaudio also became the first Argentina, Argentine man since Guillermo Vilas to win a Grand Slam (tennis), grand slam, in 1979.
