Julie Dahle Aagård
Julie Dahle Aagård (born 30 December 1978) is a Norwegian Jazz musician (vocals). She is the sister of Tora Dahle Aagård. Career Aagård is a graduate singing teacher from the Jazz program at Trondheim Musikkonsevatorium (1997–2002) She has also been active in the art scene, first in her own cabaret, ''Julie, heilt ålein'' (1998), later in ''Lady Arbuthnott'' at Sunndalsøra, ''Mack & Mabel'' at "Hedmark Teater" and ''Havet legg aldri stilt'' (Norveg). She played the Primary Role in the production ''Piaf'' (2005) at Det Norske Teatret and in 2010 she was the slave Anna, in the historic play "Håkon og Kark" (Korsvikaspillet) at Lade in Trondheim. Her debut solo album ''Det Klaraste Lyset'', produced by Åge Aleksandersen, and premiered at the World Ski Championships 1997 in Trondheim. She also released ''Goodnight Stranger''. Flatanger is a List of municipalities of Norway, municipality in Trøndelag Counties of Norway, county, Norway. It is part of the Namdalen Districts of Norway, region. Oslo Jazzfestival
Oslo International Jazz Festival (Oslo Jazzfestival, established 1986 in Norway) is a Norwegians, Norwegian music event, held in August, with a focus on music form the jazz genre, performed on stages in Oslo. History The pilot project (1984–1985) was initiated by Aage Teigen. The first festival in 1986, had more than forty volunteers and the event received 350 000 Norwegian kroner in donations from Oslo Municipality. The music was largely traditional jazz, Dixieland, New Orleans jazz, etc. The organization became a Foundation (nonprofit), Foundation in 1995, led by Truls Helweg, chairman of the board since 1995) and permanently appointed General Manager (Aage Teigen), at a time when the budget was over 5 million Norwegian kroner. Teigen was in 2002 awarded the Oslo City Artist Award for his commitment. In 2006, the festival held 70 concerts (of these 15 free) with 450 musicians on 18 stages with around 70,000 spectators.
