Julie Collins
Julie Maree Collins (born 3 July 1971) is an Australian politician. She is a member of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) and has represented the Tasmanian seat of Franklin since the 2007 federal election. She held ministerial positions in the Gillard and Rudd Governments, and is Minister for Housing and Homelessness and Minister for Small Business in the Albanese ministry. Early life Collins was born in Hobart on 3 July 1971. Her father died when she was five months old, leaving her mother, Anne Peters, widowed at the age of 19. She spent her early years in her grandparents' housing commission property. Her mother subsequently remarried and she was adopted by her step-father Andrew Collins. Michael Field (politician)
Michael Walter Field (born 28 May 1948 in Latrobe, Tasmania), a former Australian politician, he held office as the Premier of Tasmania between 1989 and 1992. Field is also the former chancellor of the University of Tasmania, he held that position from January 2013 to 30 June 2021; he is also the former leader of the Tasmanian Labor Party his tenure was from 1988 until his retirement in 1996. Field is best known for operating in minority government with the support of the Independents, Tasmania's nascent Green party, with an agreement known as the Labor–Green Accord. Llewellyn Stephen O'Brien (born 26 June 1972) is an Australian politician who has been a member of the House of Representatives since the 2016 federal election, representing the Division of Wide Bay. Jacquiline Louise Lambie (born 26 February 1971) is an Australian politician who is the leader and founder of the Jacqui Lambie Network (JLN). She is a Senator for Tasmania since 2019, and was previously a Senator from 2014 to 2017. The 1987 Australian federal election was held in Australia on 11 July 1987, following the granting of a double dissolution on 5 June by the Governor-General Sir Ninian Stephen. Consequently, all 148 seats in the House of Representatives as well as all 76 seats in the Senate were up for election. The incumbent Australian Labor Party, led by Prime Minister Bob Hawke, defeated the opposition Liberal Party of Australia, led by John Howard and the National Party of Australia led by Ian Sinclair. Cosgrove High School
Cosgrove High School is a government co-educational comprehensive junior secondary school located in , a suburb of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Established in 1951 and named in honour of Sir Robert Cosgrove, the school caters for approximately 200 students from Years 7 to 10. The school is administered by the Tasmanian Department of Education. In 2019 student enrolments were 183. The school principal is Andrew Woodham. History Established in 1951 as the Robert Cosgrove Modern School, in 1962 the school's name was changed to the Robert Cosgrove High School, and in 1968 changed to its current name, Cosgrove High School. Minister For Housing (Australia)
The Minister for Housing is an Australian Government cabinet position which is currently held by Julie Collins following the swearing in of the full Albanese ministry on 1 June 2022. In the Government of Australia, the minister administers this portfolio through the Department of Social Services.
