Julian R. Geiger was the Chief Executive Officer of Aeropostale. Career Geiger received his BA in History from Columbia College and his MBA from Columbia Business School. From 1975 to 1993, Geiger held a wide range of merchandising positions at R.H. Macy & Co. including President of Merchandising for Macy's East. Aéropostale, also called Aero, is an American shopping mall–based retailer of casual apparel and accessories, principally targeting young adults through its Aéropostale stores. Aéropostale maintains control over its proprietary brands by designing, sourcing, marketing, and selling all of its own merchandise. The company operates Aéropostale stores in the United States and through its e-commerce site. Aéropostale's licensees operate Aéropostale and P.S. from Aéropostale locations in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Columbia Business School (CBS) is the business school of Columbia University, a Private university, private research university in New York City. Established in 1916, Columbia Business School is one of six Ivy League business schools and is one of the oldest business schools in the world. Macy's, Inc. (originally Federated Department Stores, Inc.) is an American conglomerate holding company.
