Julian Garrett
Julian B. Garrett (born November 7, 1940) is an American lawyer and politician. Background Garrett served as the Iowa State Representative from the 73rd District. A Republican, he has served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2011 until 2013. He currently is a member of the Iowa Senate. Kent Sorenson
Kent Sorenson (born March 29, 1972) is a former Iowa state legislator who resigned after pleading guilty to obstruction of justice and other felonies related to campaign finances. Sorenson graduated from Indianola High School in 1990. He was the owner and operator of Pro-Kleen Maintenance. According to his LinkedIn profile, Sorenson is currently a realtor with EXIT Realty North Star in Norwalk, IA. Sorenson is not listed as an agent on the EXIT website. Sorenson resigned from office on October 2, 2013, after Iowa's Senate Ethics committee found "probable cause" that Sorenson violated state ethics rules by taking illegal payments from the Michele Bachmann and Ron Paul campaigns in the 2012 Republican presidential primaries and that "his denials of doing so constituted felonious misconduct in office." Stan Gustafson
Stan Gustafson (born May 7, 1942) is an American lawyer and politician from the state of Iowa. A Republican, he serves in the Iowa House of Representatives In August, 2005, Gustafson was recalled in a special election from the Los Osos Community Sewer District ISDdue to a controversy over developing a new sewer system. After the recall of three members of the board (Stan Gustafson, President; Gordon Hensley, Member; Richard Le Gros, Member), the city of Los Osos defaulted on low interest loans from a state revolving fund and filed for Chapter 9 bankruptcy protection in federal court. Indianola is a city in Warren County, Iowa, United States, located south of downtown Des Moines, Iowa. The population was 15,833 at the time of the 2020 census. Central College is a private college located in Pella, Iowa, and affiliated with the Reformed Church in America.
