Julia Mailén Gomes Fantasia (born 30 April 1992) is an Argentine field hockey player. Career At the 2013 Pan American Cup she won her first gold medal with the Argentina national team in an international tournament. Julia also won two Champions Trophy and the World League 2014–15. Puerto Madryn (; cy, Porth Madryn), also known as ''Madryn'', is a city in the province of Chubut in Argentine Patagonia. It is the capital of the Viedma Department, and has about 93,995 inhabitants according to the last census in 2010. The 2013 Women's Hockey Junior World Cup was the seventh edition of the Women's Hockey Junior World Cup, held from 27 July to 4 August 2013 in Mönchengladbach, Germany. 2014–15 Women's FIH Hockey World League
The 2014–15 Women's FIH Hockey World League was the second edition of women's field hockey national team league series. The tournament started in June 2014 in Singapore and finished in December 2015 in Rosario, Argentina. The Semifinals of this competition also served as a qualifier for the 2016 Summer Olympics as 7 highest placed teams apart from the five continental champions qualified. Field Hockey
Field hockey is a team sport structured in standard hockey format, in which each team plays with ten outfield players and a goalkeeper. Teams must drive a round hockey ball by hitting it with a hockey stick towards the rival team's shooting circle and then into the goal. The match is won by the team that scores the most goals. Matches are played on grass, watered turf, artificial turf, synthetic field, or indoor boarded surface. The stick is made of wood, carbon fibre, fibreglass, or a combination of carbon fibre and fibreglass in different quantities. The stick has two sides; one rounded and one flat; only the flat face of the stick is allowed to progress the ball. During play, goalkeepers are the only players allowed to touch the ball with any part of their body. A player's hand is considered part of the stick if holding the stick.
