Jules-Frederic Nyongha
Jules-Fredric Nyongha (born 3 October 1945) is a Cameroonian association football manager who most recently coached Unisport FC de Bafang. Career Nyongha has had three spells in charge of the Cameroon national team, including at the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations. Nyongha was appointed manager of Union Douala in May 2011. He left the club in September 2011. In February 2013 he joined Douala Athletic Club. In June 2017 he joined Bamboutos FC as manager. He was sacked in August 2017 due to poor results. Bafang is a town and commune in Cameroon situated in the Haut-Nkam division of the West Province. It lies at the heart of the territory of the Bamiléké people, and has a population of roughly 33,324. French Cameroon
French Cameroon or French Cameroons (french: link=no, Cameroun) was a French mandate territory in Central Africa. It now forms part of the independent country of Cameroon. History Beginnings The area of present-day Cameroon came under German sovereignty during the "Scramble for Africa" at the end of the 19th century. The German protectorate commenced in 1884 with a treaty with local chiefs in the Douala area, in particular Ndumbe Lobe Bell, then gradually it was extended to the interior. Cameroon National Football Team
The Cameroon national football team ( French: ''équipe du Cameroun de football''), also known as the Indomitable Lions (French: ''les lions indomptables''), represents Cameroon in men's international football. It is controlled by the Fédération Camerounaise de Football, a member of FIFA and its African confederation CAF. The team has qualified for the FIFA World Cup eight times, more than any other African team, and four times in a row between 1990 and 2002. The 1996 African Cup of Nations was the 20th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, the football championship of Africa ( CAF). It was hosted by South Africa, who replaced original hosts Kenya. The field expanded for the first time to 16 teams, split into four groups of four; the top two teams in each group advancing to the quarterfinals.
