Jul Laiza Mae Camposano-Beran is a Filipino fighter pilot. Background and education Jul Laiza Mae Camposano-Beran was born in Tulunan, Cotabato. She was known in her town as a regular participant in local beauty pageants. Her mother was a former employee of the municipal government. Camposano-Beran graduated from the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) in 2015 as part of the Sinaglahi class. She was the fifth woman to receive the Athletic Saber Award in the PMA, outbesting 170 students. Camposano-Beran attended the Philippine Air Force Flying School in 2017 by accumulating 180 hours of flying time in the two propeller-driven T-41D Mescalero, T-41D or the Cessna 172, Cessna R-172. Career Camposano-Beran would start flying solo on the SIAI-Marchetti S.211, AS-211, trainer jet converted to a light combat aircraft by the Philippine Air Force, on December 5, 2020. Tulunan
Tulunan, officially the Municipality of Tulunan ( ceb, Lungsod sa Tulunan; tl, Bayan ng Tulunan; mdh, Inged nu Tulunan, Jawi: ايڠايد نو تولونن), is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Cotabato, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 60,978 people. History The Tulunan is derived from a Maguindanaon word “''tulun''” which means “a place of abundance” or “where grace fall”. The early settlers of the place were mostly Muslim tribes who settled in the lowlands. The nomadic tribes like the B'laans, Bagobos and Tirurays occupied the hills and mountains. The first system of government was datuism and the first ruling datu of the place was believed to be Datu Enok.
