Juize
Juize is a Dutch Internet radio station that focuses on hip hop and R&B music and is part of Radiocorp BV. History In 1999, 538 started the hip-hop and contemporary R&B program ''Juize'', which was presented by Niels Hoogland. On 18 July 2004 the radio station Juize.FM was established as a spin-off of this program. From 1 July 2005 to 1 December 2008, Juize.FM could be received in most of the Netherlands via digital cable by 4 million cable subscribers. Until 20 September 2011 the station was also available on satellite via Canal Digitaal. Exactly one year after the start the station started to air shows with hosts, including Niels Hoogland, Yes-R, DJ Jeff, Negativ and E-life. Hoogland quit his daily radio show on 538 to dedicate more of his time to the expansion of Juize. Since 18 November 2008 there are no more such presented programs. Radio 538 () is a Dutch commercial radio station that was founded in Hilversum, Netherlands in 1992. It is the second-most listened to radio station in the Netherlands. Radio 538 refers to the wavelength on which Radio Veronica used to broadcast in the 1970s. The station is owned by Talpa Network. Mostly targetting a young audience, the station plays a mix of current dance, R&B, pop, and rock hits. The music selection is mainly based on the Dutch Top 40 chart. Its breakfast and drive-time shows are talk-intensive. The station was originally only accessible through cable. In 1998, Radio 538 upgraded their frequency package, allowing for different frequencies by region. Maurits Robert Delchot better known by his stage name Negativ (born 8 September 1982) is a Dutch rapper, actor and radio broadcaster of Surinamese origin from Amsterdam-Oost. Negativ became part of the rap formation D-Men. He has also acted films like ''Bolletjes Blues'' and '' Complexx''. He also has his own weekly radio show where he DJs for ''Juize FM'' on Fridays. E-life
Elvis de Oliveira, better known as E-Life, is a rapper from Rotterdam, Netherlands. He is also a DJ for radio station Juize FM. E-Life started his music career with rap crew Dope Syndicate. DJ Raw Deal's move to the United States in 1995 prompted E-Life to go solo, touring through Europe. His first solo single, ''Stacked With Honors'', came out a year later, in 1996. The song received a lot of airplay on the radio, but didn't make it to the charts. It was nominated for best hiphop song for the 1997 TMF Awards, and it allowed E-Life to perform with LL Cool J, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Ice Cube, the Wu-Tang Clan, Public Enemy, Blackstreet and Run DMC. CanalDigitaal is a provider of digital television via satellite for the Dutch market, using the Astra satellites at 23.5° east. Initially customers were mainly Dutch citizens in the countryside who did not have cable access. But in the meantime the company also managed to expand into the cities. This is sometimes complicated in the Netherlands due to local building codes restricting the placement of satellite dishes. Yesser Roshdy ( arz, ياسر رشدي, ; born 2 November 1986), better known by his stage name Yes-R, is a Dutch rapper and television presenter. He was born in Amsterdam, to an Egyptian father, and a Moroccan mother. Before going solo, he was part of the Dutch hip-hop formation D-Men. He has also appeared in the films '''n Beetje Verliefd'' and ''Gangsterboys''. Early career Yes-R originates from East Amsterdam. Inspired by his cousin Ali B, he started rapping at the age of 12.
