Juhani is a fictional character appearing in BioWare's 2003 action role-playing video game '' Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic''. Within the series, Juhani is a Jedi Knight who is a member of the feline Cathar species. She initially appears as an enemy, but joins the protagonist Revan if she is spared and offered a chance to redeem herself. If the player character is female, Juhani develops romantic feelings for her and the player can pursue a romance. Juhani is notable as the first LGBTQ character in the ''Star Wars'' media franchise, specifically a lesbian, as well as BioWare's first gay character. She is voiced by Courtenay Taylor. Juhani Aho, originally Johannes Brofeldt (11 September 1861 – 8 August 1921), was a Finnish author and journalist. He was nominated for the Nobel prize in literature twelve times. Early life Juhani Aho was born at Lapinlahti in 1861. His parents were Henrik Gustaf Theodor Brofeldt and Karolina Fredrika Emelie "Emma" Brofeldt (née Snellman). The Brofeldts were a priestly family: Theodor was a relatively well-known revivalist preacher whose sermons were published in 1917 as ''Rovasti H. G. Th. Brofeldtin saarnoja'' and his father had been a chaplain and his grandfather a vicar. Juhani had two younger brothers Kaarlo Kustaa Brofeldt (1865–1936) and Petter Fredrik Brofeldt (1864–1945) who, following Juhani's example, adopted the Finnish names Kalle and Pekka as well as the surname Aho. Juhani Pallasmaa
Juhani Uolevi Pallasmaa (born 14 September 1936 in Hämeenlinna, Finland) is a Finnish architect and former professor of architecture and dean at the Helsinki University of Technology. Among the many academic and civic positions he has held are those of Director of the Museum of Finnish Architecture 1978–1983, and head of the Institute of Industrial Arts, Helsinki. He established his own architect's office – Arkkitehtitoimisto Juhani Pallasmaa KY – in 1983 in Helsinki. From 2001 to 2003, he was Raymond E. Maritz Visiting Professor of Architecture at Washington University in St. Louis, and in 2013 he received an honorary doctorate from that university. Juhani Wahlsten
Juhani Jorma Kalevi Wahlsten (13 January 19389 June 2019) was a Finnish professional ice hockey player and ice hockey coach who worked as an exercise and gymnastics teacher in Finland. He was also known by the nickname "Juuso". He also established and helped guide the early development of ringette in Finland, the first European country to do so. During his ice hockey career, Wahlsten played in Finland's SM-sarja for a number of teams including KalPa, Ilves, HJK Helsinki (HJK), and TPS. After his playing career finished he went on to become a coach. Wahlsten was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 1986 and was later inducted into the International Ice Hockey Federation Hall of Fame in 2006. Wahlsten is considered to be the "Father of Ringette" in Finland. Juhani Ojala (; born 19 June 1989) is a Finnish professional footballer who is a free agent and plays as a centre-back, most recently for Scottish Premiership club Motherwell, and the Finland national team. Ojala was born in Vantaa, Finland where he played for the local youth team before moving to HJK's organisation. Ojala made his international debut for Finland in November 2011, at the age of 22. Juhani Aaltonen (born December 12, 1935) is a Finnish jazz saxophonist and flautist. Born in Kouvola, Finland, he studied at Sibelius Academy and Berklee College of Music. He began playing professionally at the end of the 1950s. He played in a sextet led by Heikki Rosendahl during that time, and then studied flute performance at the Sibelius Academy and in the U.S. at the Berklee College of Music. Moving back to Finland, he settled in Helsinki and began working both as a session musician and with fusion groups. Later in the 1960s he formed a duo with Edward Vesala, as well as in the group Eero Koivistoinen for four years. He played with Tasavallan Presidentti in their earlier days, including for their first, eponymous, album. Juhani Peltonen (born 16 June 1936) is a retired Finnish association football player. Peltonen was the first Finnish player to play in the German Bundesliga. The forward made 38 appearances for Hamburger SV between 1964 and 1966, scoring six goals. His career in Germany ended after only two seasons because of contract disputes. In Finland Peltonen always represented Valkeakosken Haka, winning two Finnish championships and five Finnish Cups with the club. Juhani "Juhku" Kumpulainen (31 July 1925, in Viipuri – 12 November 1991, in Helsinki) was a Finnish actor and director. He did a total of 85 movie roles between 1950 and 1991. Kumpulainen was also the official YLE's administrative and organizational tasks as well as Tesvisio facility manager. Admiral Pauli Juhani Kaskeala (born 26 July 1946, Kuopio) is a senior Finnish admiral and was Chief of Defence of the Finnish Defence Forces from 2001 to 1 August 2009. Manu Juhani Tamminen (born May 26, 1950) is a Finnish people, Finnish retired professional ice hockey player who played in the SM-liiga and World Hockey Association. He played for TPS (ice hockey), TPS, HJK Helsinki, HJK, HIFK (ice hockey), HIFK, Cleveland Crusaders, and Phoenix Roadrunners (WHA), Phoenix Roadrunners.
