Judith Miller
Judith Miller (born January 2, 1948) is an American journalist and commentator known for her coverage of Iraq's Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) program both before and after the 2003 invasion, which was later discovered to have been based on inaccurate information from the intelligence community. She worked in ''The New York Times'' Washington bureau before joining Fox News in 2008. Miller co-wrote a book '' Germs: Biological Weapons and America's Secret War'', which became a top ''New York Times'' best seller shortly after she became a victim of a hoax anthrax letter at the time of the 2001 anthrax attacks. ''The New York Times'' determined that several stories she wrote about Iraq were inaccurate, and she was forced to resign from the paper in 2005. Jason Wolkow Epstein (August 25, 1928 – February 4, 2022) was an American editor and publisher. He was the editorial director of Random House from 1976 to 1995. He also co-founded ''The New York Review of Books'' in 1963. Early life Epstein was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on August 25, 1928. His father, Robert, worked as a partner in the family textile business; his mother, Gladys (Shapiro), was a housewife. His family was Jewish. Riviera (nightclub)
The Riviera was a nightclub in Fort Lee, New Jersey, just outside of New York City, from 1931 to 1953. For most of its history it was located overlooking the Hudson River adjacent to the George Washington Bridge. (144 pages) History The Riviera was first opened by Ben Marden in 1931 in Fort Lee on Hudson Terrace, near Myrtle Avenue near the George Washington Bridge. The first Riviera building burned to the ground on Thanksgiving night, 1936. Marden reopened the Riviera, at a location closer to the George Washington Bridge, in June 1937.
