Judith McGrath
Judith McGrath (21 April 1947 – 20 October 2017) was an Australian actress. McGrath was known for her television roles, including soap opera's ''Prisoner'' (1979–84), as Deputy Governor/Officer Colleen "Poface" Powell, ''A Country Practice'' (1992–93) as hippy Bernice Hudson and for her Logie Award-nominated role in the medical drama '' All Saints'' as Nurse Yvonne "Von" Ryan (1998–2009) and her comedy roles in children's series ''Round the Twist'' as Matron Cecilia MGribble. Police Rescue
''Police Rescue'' is an Australian television series which originally aired on ABC TV between 1989 and 1996. It was produced by ABC and Southern Star Xanadu in association with the BBC. Apart from the 61 episodes, there was a 90-minute pilot episode (first screened in 1989) as well as a feature film in 1994, starring Zoe Carides. The series dealt with the New South Wales Police Rescue Squad based in Sydney and their work attending to various incidents from road accidents to train crashes. The show was very well received for the first four series, however a decline in ratings by the commencement of the 1996 series saw the cancellation of the show, following an almost epitaph in the final three episodes. ''The Main Event'' was a weekly hour-long Australian game show that aired on the Seven Network from 1991 to 1992. The show was hosted by Larry Emdur, with Don Blake and Niel Chantler as announcers. The series was created by former football player Craig Johnston, who was also listed as "Creative Director" in the ending credits. Game play Two teams (one red and one yellow), each consisting of three celebrities in the studio and up to four family members at home, compete against each other to earn points. Willing And Abel
''Willing and Abel'' is an Australian television comedy series which was made in 1987, about two handymen. The main cast were Grant Dodwell as "Charles Willing", Shane Withington as "Abel Moore", and Rebecca Rigg as "Angela Reddy". Their names ("Reddy", "Willing" and "Abel") were a pun on the saying: "Ready, Willing and Able". It had problems in attaining an audience. The show was produced as a "comedy drama" however some at the Nine Network wanted to steer it to be a heavier drama. There was much discussion between production executives and the Network and not much agreement. One episode scripted by Ted Roberts dealt with a hostage situation at a bank, the pathos being reinforced by series characters caught up in the action. The series was another police drama from Crawford Productions, but was different from their previous series—''Homicide'', ''Division 4'' and ''Matlock Police''—in that it focused on a single detective rather than an ensemble, and that the characters were not stock standard archetypes usually seen in police dramas.
