Judgement Day (album)
''Judgement Day'' is the second studio album by American rapper Esham, released April 9, 1992. On June 6, 2006, a ''Judgement Day'' box set was issued, containing both original volumes and previously unreleased material. Production Reel Life Productions founder and Esham's brother James Smith decided that Esham should record a double album following the release of Prince (musician), Prince's ''Love Symbol Album''. Smith thought that if an R&B artist could record a double album, a rapper should record a double album. However, it is not the first double album in hip hop, as previously DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince released ''He's the DJ, I'm the Rapper'', which was a double album in its original vinyl configuration. Music While the lyrical content of ''Judgement Day'' is similar to that of Esham's debut, ''Boomin' Words from Hell'', the music features a heavier use of rock music, rock samples. Release history ''Judgement Day'' was released separately in two volumes, ''Day ...

Repentance (Esham Album)
''Repentance'' is the ninth studio album by Esham. Released in 2003, it is his first album of new material to be released on Psychopathic Records, and his second album on the label overall, after the compilation '' Acid Rain''. Lyrics and music Because much of Smith's most well-known material had contained lyrics that were Satanic in nature, he had long been accused of Satanism and had long attempted to shed such perceptions. ''Repentance'' was produced as an attempt to "set the ..record straight" and leave his former "Unholy" stage persona behind him. The album was originally announced under the title ''Redemption''. The song "Woo Woo Woo Woo" was released as a single, and a music video for the song was filmed by Roy Knyrim. In both instances, the song is identified as "Woo Woo Woo", even though it is referred to as "Woo Woo Woo Woo" on the album itself, and in the chorus. Although the video aired in rotation on BET and MTV 2, Esham decided to direct his own music videos becaus ...

Albums Produced By Esham
An album is a collection of audio recordings issued on compact disc (CD), vinyl, audio tape, or another medium such as digital distribution. Albums of recorded sound were developed in the early 20th century as individual 78 rpm records collected in a bound book resembling a photograph album; this format evolved after 1948 into single vinyl long-playing (LP) records played at   rpm. The album was the dominant form of recorded music expression and consumption from the mid-1960s to the early 21st century, a period known as the album era. Vinyl LPs are still issued, though album sales in the 21st-century have mostly focused on CD and MP3 formats. The 8-track tape was the first tape format widely used alongside vinyl from 1965 until being phased out by 1983 and was gradually supplanted by the cassette tape during the 1970s and early 1980s; the popularity of the cassette reached its peak during the late 1980s, sharply declined during the 1990s and had largely disappeared dur ...

Closed Casket
''Closed Casket'' is the fourth studio album by Esham, released on November 22, 1994, and distributed by Reel Life Productions/Warlock Records. Lyrics and music Because of the Satanic themes of his earlier work, Esham had been accused of Satanism. Feeling that the lyrical content of his albums was being taken too seriously, Esham decided that after producing one final album with such material, he would no longer rap about the Devil. Jason Birchmeier noted that "the production improves upon past albums, not as reliant on samples and obviously more crafted". Reception Allmusic AllMusic (previously known as All Music Guide and AMG) is an American online music database. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. Doubelievengod
''Doubelievengod'' is the third album by Natas, released in 1995. Music and lyrics Describing the music and lyrics, Allrovi called ''Doubelievengod'' "a much more mature album in terms of both production and rapping. Most obviously, the platter of samples is gone; for whatever reasons, the emphasis is now on synth-driven beats ..The move toward eerie synth actually works in this album's favor, given its malevolent slant and ominous tone". Reception Allrovi reviewer Jason Birchmeier writes that ''Doubelievengod'' "holds a special place in the Esham legacy alongside the ''Judgement Day'' albums as the summit of not necessarily his talent but rather his wickedness." Track listing All tracks produced by Esham ;Sample credits * "Doubelievengod" contains a sample of "Original Nuttah" as performed by UK Apachi * "NATAS" contains a sample of "Original Nuttah" as performed by UK Apachi * "Itzalright" contains a sample of "Black Frost" as performed by Grover Washington, Jr. * ...
