Judgement 2008
Judgement 2008 was a professional wrestling event promoted by DDT Pro-Wrestling (DDT). It took place on March 9, 2008, in Tokyo, Japan, at the Korakuen Hall. It was the twelfth event under the Judgement name. The event aired domestically on Fighting TV Samurai. Storylines Judgement 2008 featured eight professional wrestling matches that involved different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds and storylines. Wrestlers portrayed villains, heroes, or less distinguishable characters in the scripted events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches. Event The second match was for Muscle Sakai's personal belt, which was not a championship recognized by DDT. The match could be won by taking the belt off Sakai's waist. DDT Pro-Wrestling
is a Japanese professional wrestling promotion based in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Its name stands for Dramatic Dream Team, which was the promotion's official name from 1997 to 2004. Founded in March 1997 by Shintaro Muto, the promotion was eventually bought and managed by Shoichi Ichimiya until December 2005, when Sanshiro Takagi took over as the new president. In 2017, DDT was sold to CyberAgent. Takagi retained his position, while Takahiro Yamauchi took over as the new DDT director. DDT became one of the top promotions in Japanese independent wrestling by creating a unique sports entertainment style, often parodying WWE, with a Japanese puroresu flair to the matches. , better known by the ring name , is a Japanese professional wrestler and judoka signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). is a Japanese professional wrestler currently working for DDT Pro-Wrestling (DDT), a Japanese promotion where he is a former Ironman Heavymetalweight Champion. is a Japanese professional wrestler. He is signed to DDT Pro-Wrestling (DDT), where is a former two-time DDT Universal Champion. (born December 28, 1973), known by his stage name Mikami, is a Japanese professional wrestler. He is best known for his work for Dramatic Dream Team both as a singles wrestler and with Thanomsak Toba in a tag team called Suicide Boyz. Eight-man Tag Team Match
Much like the singles match, tag team professional wrestling matches can and have taken many forms. Just about any singles or melee match type can be adapted to tag teams; for example, hardcore tag team matches are commonplace.
