Judge Memorial Catholic High School
Judge Memorial Catholic High School is a private Catholic high school located in Salt Lake City, Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. It is one of three high schools in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City serving students in grades nine through 12. Founded in 1921, the school draws students from across the Salt Lake Valley and beyond. Judge Memorial shares its city location with Our Lady of Lourdes parish and school. History The school property was originally the John Judge Memorial Miner's Home, a hospital established by Mary Judge, wife of John Judge, a partner of US Senator Thomas Kearns in Park City's famous Silver King Mining Co. Joseph Lennox Federal (January 13, 1910 – August 31, 2000) was an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as bishop of the Diocese of Salt Lake City in Utah from 1960 to 1980. He previously served as an auxiliary bishop and coadjutor bishop of the same diocese from 1951 to 1960. Robert Joseph Dwyer
Robert Joseph Dwyer (August 1, 1908 – March 24, 1976) was an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He was the fifth Archbishop of Portland from 1966 to 1974, having previously served as the second Bishop of Reno (1952–66). Janson Theodore "Ted" Vogt (born February 20, 1973) is a former Arizona State Representative and director of the Arizona Department of Gaming. Prior to his appointment as Gaming director by Governor of Arizona Doug Ducey in 2019, Vogt served as the executive director of the Arizona Corporation Commission. Challenge Index
The Challenge Index is a method for the statistical ranking of top public and private high schools in the United States, created by ''The Washington Post'' columnist Jay Mathews. It is also the only statistical ranking system for both public and private high schools. The ranking is determined by the extent of availability of the Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate Programs in the school's curriculum and the number of graduating seniors. For each school, the study tallies the total number of AP and IB exams that are taken that year in the school. This sum is divided by the number of students graduating in that same year. This ratio is the Challenge Index. Not incorporated with the study are any school that accepts over 50% of its students via a placement test or other type of admission criterion.
