Judge (OAV)
is a manga series written and illustrated by Fujihiko Hosono, published in Futabasha's ''Action Brother'' and ''Comic Action Character''. The story focuses on the Japanese hell, where judgment is passed on the living. An original video animation, ''Magistrate of Darkness: Judge'', based on the manga was released in 1991. Plot The OVA starts with a man being shot in a jungle-like scenery. It is later revealed that the person is Yamanobe, the vice-president of a company who sent him to South America, where he was killed by local guerrillas. The company he works for is the main center of the story and it is where all other major characters work. The main character, , is apparently an everyman, known as a silent guy by his workmates. However, in secret, he is the Judge of Darkness, punishing living criminals that were not found guilty by human laws. Doubt (horror Manga)
, also known as , is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshiki Tonogai. The series focuses on the "Rabbit Doubt" cell phone game, with rules similar to Mafia. The players must find the wolf, or killer, amongst their group of rabbits as they are picked off one-by-one. Six players of this game find themselves trapped in a building with one of the group already dead; to avoid the same fate, the remaining five must play a real-life game of "Rabbit Doubt" and find the wolf (liar) hiding among them. The manga was serialized in Square Enix's ''shōnen'' manga magazine ''Monthly Shōnen Gangan'' from July 2007 to February 2009, with its chapters collected in four ''tankōbon'' volumes. Frederick Walter Patten (December 11, 1940 – November 12, 2018) was an American writer and historian known for his work in the science fiction, fantasy, anime, manga, and furry fandoms, where he gained great distinction through a substantial contribution to both print and online books, magazines, and other media. Background Patten was born in Los Angeles on December 11, 1940 to Shirley Marie (Jones) Patten and Beverly Walter Patten. He had two younger sisters: Loel Anne Patten (born 1943) and Sherrill Clare Patten (born 1947). He learned to read at a young age, starting with comic strips in both the Los Angeles Times and Examiner, and later was introduced to ''Walt Disney's Comics and Stories'' around 1945. Much of his early reading also came from magazines and books, and he showed an interest in superhero comic books as well.
