''Jubilee'' is a Sex Pistols singles compilation issued in 2002 to celebrate the Sex Pistols' 25th anniversary Jubilee (as well as the Golden Jubilee of Elizabeth II). The album also included promo videos for ''God Save the Queen (Sex Pistols song), God Save the Queen'', ''Anarchy in the U.K.'' and ''Pretty Vacant''. The track "Pretty Vacant (Live)" is from the Filthy Lucre Tour, 1996 reunion tour. "Silly Thing" is not the version of the song that appears on ''The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle (album), The Great Rock 'N' Roll Swindle'' album, but the single version of the track which has vocals by Steve Jones (musician), Steve Jones instead of Paul Cook. Sex Pistols
The Sex Pistols were an English punk rock band formed in London in 1975. Although their initial career lasted just two and a half years, they were one of the most groundbreaking acts in the history of popular music. They were responsible for initiating the Punk subculture, punk movement in the United Kingdom and inspiring many later punk and alternative rock musicians. Their fashion and hairstyles were a significant influence on punk fashion, punk image, and they are often associated with anarchism within music. "Holidays in the Sun" is a song by the English group Sex Pistols. It was released on 14 October 1977 as the band's fourth single, as well as the advance single from their only album ''Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols''. A #8 chart hit in the UK, the single proved to be the last with singer John Lydon for 30 years. Steve Jones and Paul Cook recorded one more single, " No One Is Innocent" with Ronnie Biggs, as the band imploded, and Sid Vicious recorded solo covers of "My Way" and " Somethin' Else" under the Pistols name. "C'mon Everybody" is a 1958 song by Eddie Cochran and Jerry Capehart, originally released as a B-side. Background When Cochran recorded his lead vocal for the song, he also created an alternate version of the song called "Let's Get Together". The only change to the lyrics was exactly that: the phrase ''"Let's get together"'' in place of ''"C'mon everybody".'' "No One Is Innocent" was the fifth single by the British punk rock band the Sex Pistols. It was released on 30 June 1978. The Pistols had split up early in 1978, losing bassist Sid Vicious and original lead vocalist Johnny Rotten. "No One Is Innocent" was recorded by remaining members Paul Cook and Steve Jones, with vocals performed by Ronnie Biggs, a British criminal notorious for his part in the Great Train Robbery of 1963.
