Juanito (footballer, Born 1980)
Juan Jesús Gutiérrez Robles (born 17 February 1980), known as Juanito, is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played mainly as a defensive midfielder. Over the course of nine seasons, he amassed La Liga totals of 218 games and four goals, mainly with Málaga (five years) and Almería (three). He also played abroad in Greece late into his career. Club career Juanito was born in Málaga, Andalusia. Earlier a central defender, he grew through the ranks of hometown's Málaga CF, making his La Liga debut on 1 September 2002 in a 3–2 away win against neighbours Recreativo de Huelva. He then spent one season each with Deportivo Alavés and Real Sociedad, with both teams eventually being relegated to the Segunda División. The UEFA Intertoto Cup (from la, Inter, 'between' + german: toto, 'betting pool'),Most precisely, from (football pool); cf. often abbreviated and more known in the German-speaking world as UI Cup and originally called the International Football Cup, was a summer football competition. The competition was discontinued after the 2008 tournament. Teams who originally would have entered the Intertoto Cup now directly enter the qualifying stages of the UEFA Europa League from this point. The tournament was founded in 1961–62, but was only taken over by UEFA in 1995. Initially, the tournament ended with a single champion, who received the Intertoto Cup. Fernando Soriano
Fernando Soriano Marco (born 24 September 1979) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder. He spent most of his 19-year career with Almería, totalling ten seasons in two different spells. In La Liga, where he also represented Zaragoza and Osasuna, he amassed totals of 229 games and 21 goals, adding the same amount of matches and 33 goals in the Segunda División. Over nine months and starting in 2016, Soriano also managed Almería. Playing career Soriano was born in Zaragoza, Aragon. A product of hometown Real Zaragoza's youth ranks, he was loaned to Segunda División side Recreativo de Huelva before appearing with the main squad, which happened in the 2002–03 season in the same league. The 2010–11 La Liga season (known as the ''Liga BBVA'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 80th since its establishment. The campaign began on 28 August 2010 and ended on 21 May 2011. A total of 20 teams contested the league, 17 of which already contested in the 2009–10 season and three of which were promoted from the Segunda División. In addition, a new match ball – the Nike Total 90 Tracer – served as the official ball for all matches. Defending champions Barcelona secured their third-consecutive and 21st La Liga title after a 1–1 tie with Levante on 11 May 2011.
