Juan Sabines Guerrero
Juan José Sabines Guerrero (born August 20, 1968) is a Mexican politician, son of the former Governor of Chiapas, Juan Sabines Gutiérrez and nephew of the writer Jaime Sabines. Until, 2006 he was member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) that carried him to be Municipal President of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, but renounced his membership to the PRI after the party denied him the chance to be a candidate for governor and asked him to finish his term as municipal president. He then became a candidate of the Coalition for the Good of All, composed by the parties PRD, PT and Convergence. He was consul of Mexico in Orlando from June 2015 to December 2018. Governor Of Chiapas
The governor of Chiapas is the chief executive of the Mexican state of Chiapas. The state constitution stipulates a term of 6 years, to which governors can only be elected once. It also specifies the qualifications for becoming governor: a Mexican citizen by birth, aged at least 30 years old, and having not less than 5 years residency in Chiapas. 2006 Chiapas State Election
A local election was held in the Mexican state of Chiapas on Sunday, August 20, 2006. Voters went to the polls to elect, on the local level, a new Governor of Chiapas to serve a six-year term. Gubernatorial election Five candidates registered as candidates to fight the election. However, on August 10, Francisco Rojas Toledo of the National Action Party and Emilio Zebadúa of New Alliance announced that they were withdrawing from the election and throwing their support behind the Institutional Revolutionary Party's José Antonio Aguilar Bodegas in order to present a united front to prevent Juan José Sabines Guerrero, representing the Alliance for the Good of All and a protégé of incumbent governor Pablo Salazar Mendiguchía, from winning. Isla Mujeres (, Spanish language, Spanish for "Women Island" (formally “Isla de Mujeres”) is an island where the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea meet, about off the Yucatán Peninsula coast in the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico. It is approximately long and wide. To the east is the Caribbean Sea with a strong Ocean surface wave, surf and rock (geology), rocky coast, and to the west the skyline of Cancún can be seen across the waters. Ocozocoautla
Ocozocoautla de Espinosa, colloquially Coita, is a town and municipality in the Mexican state of Chiapas. It is located in the western part of the state, 24 km west of Tuxtla Gutierrez covering parts of the Depresión Central (Central Depression) and the Montañas del Norte (Northern Mountains). It is bordered to the north by Tecpatán, to the east by Berriozábal, Tuxtla Gutiérrez and Suchiapa, to the south by Villaflores and to the west by Jiquipilas and Cintalapa. The name comes from the Nahua language and means ‘forest of ocozote trees’. ‘De Espinosa’ was added in 1928 to honor Raymundo Enríquez Espinosa who was the first governor of the state of Chiapas.
