Juan Rafael Fuentes Hernández (born 5 January 1990) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a left-back. Club career Córdoba Born in Córdoba, Andalusia, Fuentes made his professional debut with hometown club Córdoba CF on 10 October 2009, appearing in a 1–1 away draw against Real Murcia CF in the Segunda División. He was a first-team regular over the course of four seasons at that level, featuring in 30 games in 2011–12 (all starts) and 35 the following campaign. Fuentes scored his first goal as a senior on 30 March 2013, helping the hosts to defeat CE Sabadell FC 3–0. Espanyol Fuentes joined La Liga side RCD Espanyol on 19 June 2013, on a four-year deal.
