Juan Pablo García (racing Driver)
Juan Pablo García (born October 4, 1987) is a Mexican racing driver. Racing career Early career Garcia began his professional career in Formula Renault 2000 de America in 2006. He made two A1 Grand Prix starts for A1 Team Mexico that winter and then drove in the British Formula 3 Championship National Class, finishing 7th. In 2008 he drove in Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup, finishing 16th, and Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup where he failed to score. Indy Lights In August 2009 he signed on to make his Indy Lights debut for HVM Racing at Infineon Raceway after being inactive for much of the year. He returned to the team in 2010 and made two late-season road course starts, finishing 6th at Infineon. For 2011 he signed to drive full-time in the series for Jensen MotorSport. However, he left the team and the series after the fourth race of the season, the Freedom 100, with a best finish of eighth. The 2006–07 A1 Grand Prix season was the second season for the A1 Grand Prix series. It began on 1 October 2006, at Circuit Park Zandvoort, and the season ended at Brands Hatch on 29 April 2007. A1 Team Germany won it with 128 points, 35 points lead ahead Team New Zealand. Teams 24 teams, each representing a different country, signed up for the second A1 Grand Prix season. Watkins Glen International, nicknamed "The Glen", is an automobile race track located in the town of Dix just southwest of the village of Watkins Glen, New York, at the southern tip of Seneca Lake. It was long known around the world as the home of the Formula One United States Grand Prix, which it hosted for twenty consecutive years (1961–1980). Iowa Speedway is a 7/8-mile (1.4 km) paved oval motor racing track in Newton, Iowa, United States, approximately east of Des Moines. The Milwaukee Mile is a oval race track in the central United States, located on the grounds of the Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis, Wisconsin, a suburb west of Milwaukee. Its grandstand and bleachers seats approximately 37,000 spectators. Paved in 1954, it was originally a dirt track. In addition to the oval, there is a road circuit located on the infield. Kansas Speedway is a tri-oval race track in the Village West area near Kansas City, Kansas, United States. It was built in 2001 and it currently hosts two annual NASCAR race weekends. The Freedom 100 was an automobile race held annually at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana, as part of the Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires. The event was a support race for the IndyCar Series Indianapolis 500, and since 2005, it was held on the Friday preceding the Indianapolis 500, the day known as " Carb Day". The Freedom 100 was the second race annually at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the other being the Grand Prix on the combined road course.
