Juan José Muñante
Juan José Muñante López (12 June 1948 – 23 April 2019) was a Peruvian footballer who played in a right winger role. Biography Nicknamed '' The Jet'' in Peru and '' The Cobra'' in Mexico. He was famous for having great speed (he could run 100 metres in 10.7 seconds flat and was almost as quick with a ball at his feet), and also for his skills with the ball and his relatively high assist for teammate for passing the ball to the scorer, given his position of right winger. He debuted in the Primera División with Sport Boys in the 1966 season. In 1969, he joined Universitario de Deportes where he was part of the team that won 2 Peru league championships and he helped reach second place at the Copa Libertadores 1972. Muñante also played successfully in the Mexican League for many years, mainly in Pumas de la UNAM and Atlético Español. Pisco, Peru
Pisco ( qu, Pisqu) is a city located in the Department of Ica of Peru, the capital of the Pisco Province. The city is around 9 metres (28 feet) above sea level. Pisco was founded in 1640, close to the indigenous emplacement of the same name. Pisco originally prospered because of its nearby vineyards and became noted for its grape brandy or pisco which was exported from its port. Pisco has an estimated population of 104,656 (est. 2015). 1978 FIFA World Cup
The 1978 FIFA World Cup was the 11th edition of the FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial international football world championship tournament among the men's senior national teams. It was held in Argentina between 1 and 25 June. The Cup was won by the host nation, Argentina, who defeated the Netherlands 3–1 in the final, after extra time. The final was held at River Plate's home stadium, Estadio Monumental, in the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires. This win was the first World Cup title for Argentina, who became the fifth team (after Uruguay, Italy, England, and West Germany) to be both hosts and world champions and the third South American team to win a World Cup. The 1975 CONCACAF Champions' Cup was the 11th edition of the annual international club football competition held in the CONCACAF region (North America, Central America and the Caribbean), the CONCACAF Champions' Cup. It determined that year's club champion of football (soccer), association football in the CONCACAF region and was played from 5 July 1975 till 9 May 1976. The teams were split in 3 zones (North American, Central American and the Caribbean), each one qualifying the winner to the final tournament, where the winners of the North and Central zones played a semi-final to decide who was going to play against the Caribbean champion in the final.
