Juan De Dios Ramírez Perales
Juan de Dios Ramírez Perales, dubbed "El Capi" (born 8 March 1969) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a defender. Ramírez Perales played for nearly 15 years in Mexico's league top tier, beginning his career with UNAM in 1988.MedioTiempo"Juan de Dios Ramírez Perales – Veracruz". Retrieved on 14 January 2013. By the following year he had become a starter in central defense, and he started 41 matches in 1990–91 as Pumas won the league, overcoming Club América in the final. Manuel Vidrio
Manuel Vidrio Solís (born 23 August 1972) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. He has been capped for the Mexico national team, including four games at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. He was also part of the Mexico squad at the 1992 Summer Olympics. A rugged and combative central defender, Vidrio played for Chivas until 1996. He then spent two seasons at Toluca and three at UAG Tecos before joining Pachuca, where he became one of the most effective defenders in Mexico. Lining up in a tough back line that also included Mexico internationales Alberto Rodriguez and Octavio Valdez, later joined by Francisco Gabriel de Anda, Vidrio helped Pachuca to its first national professional title in the Invierno 1999 season. 1995 Copa América
The 1995 Copa América football tournament was staged in Uruguay. It was won by Uruguay, who beat Brazil 5–3 in the penalty shootout after a 1–1 draw in the final. All 10 CONMEBOL members took part, with Mexico and the United States invited in order to reach 12 teams. The United States were the surprise of the tournament, beating defending champions Argentina 3–0 and winning the group. The United States went on to defeat Mexico on penalties in the second round but then lost to Brazil 1–0 in the semi-finals. Claudio Suárez Sánchez (; born 17 December 1968) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Nicknamed ''El Emperador'' (The Emperor). Listed below are the dates and results for the 1994 FIFA World Cup qualification rounds for the North, Central American and Caribbean zone (CONCACAF). A total of 24 CONCACAF teams entered the competition. The North, Central American and Caribbean zone was allocated 2.25 places (out of 24) in the final tournament.
