Juan Cominges
Juan Elías Cominges Mayorga (born 1 October 1983) is a Peruvian retired footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. Cominges has risen to fame in the South American scene over the recent years. This right-footed midfielder first attracted attention due to being the younger brother of forward Paul Cominges, who had been an effective striker in the major clubs in Peru and at a few clubs overseas. Club career He got his chance in the youth divisions of popular club Universitario de Deportes and slowly earned a spot in the main team as well as in the national youth teams of Peru. To give him a chance to play more games he was loaned to the club Coronel Bolognesi of Tacna in 2002, where he performed well. He then returned to the 'U' in 2003, where he had another good year. The 2006–07 Argentina Primera Division was the 116th season of first division football in Argentina. Estudiantes (LP) won the Torneo Apertura and San Lorenzo won the Torneo Clausura. Belgrano and Quilmes were relegated to the Primera B Nacional and Huracan and Tigre were promoted after winning the relegation playoff against Godoy Cruz and Nueva Chicago respectively. The Apertura and Clausura system was a single round-robin tournament format used for the Argentine Primera División championships. The 2007 Torneo Descentralizado (known as the Copa Cable Mágico for sponsorship reasons) is the ninety-first season of Peruvian football. A total of 12 teams competed in the tournament, with Alianza Lima as the defending champion. The CONMEBOL Libertadores, also known as the Copa Libertadores de América ( pt, Copa Libertadores da América), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 1960.
