Juan Diego del Castillo (1744–1793) was a Spanish pharmacist and botanist who joined Vicente Cervantes in Mexico. Castillo wrote ''Plantas descritas en el viaje de Acapulco''. He died in Mexico. Juan de Castillo (14 September 1595 – 17 November 1628) was a Jesuit priest and missionary, and a martyr-saint of the Catholic Church. A Spaniard, he was one of the first to labor at the Jesuit reductions in Paraguay. Biography Born on 14 September 1596 in Belmonte, in the region of Toledo in Spain, Juan del Castillo began studies for the legal profession at the University of Alcalá, but discovered, at the beginning of his career, a very different goal. Juan del Castillo (c. 1590 – c. 1657) was a Spanish Baroque painter. Many of his paintings became famous during his time due to his pupil, Bartolomé Esteban Murillo. Del Castillo was the youngest brother of the painter Agustín. Both were trained in painting by Luis Fernández in Seville. Juan Castillo Brayas (born January 25, 1962) is a former professional baseball player. He played all or part of four seasons in Major League Baseball from 1986 until 1989, all for the Milwaukee Brewers. His primary position was second base, but he also played a good deal at third base and shortstop. Castillo was originally signed as an amateur free agent in 1979 by the Brewers.
