Juan Cascini
Juan Bautista Cascini (born 4 June 1997) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga I club Voluntari. Career After eleven years in the club's youth system from 2005, Cascini was promoted into the first-team of Argentine Primera División side Estudiantes in 2016. He was an unused substitute four times during 2016, before making his professional debut in 2016–17 on 28 August 2016 in an away win to Tigre. In his third league appearance, on 7 April 2017, he scored his first senior goal in a 1–4 victory versus Aldosivi. APOEL of the Cypriot First Division loaned Cascini in August 2018. In June 2023 he signed for Croatian club Slaven Belupo. Personal life Bautista's father, Raúl Alfredo, was also a professional footballer. La Plata () is the capital city of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. According to the , it has a population of 654,324 and its metropolitan area, the Greater La Plata, has 787,294 inhabitants. The 2021–22 Liga I (also known as Casa Liga 1 for sponsorship reasons) is the 104th season of the Liga I, the top professional league for Romanian association football clubs. The season started on 15 July 2021 and is scheduled to end in May 2022. It is the sixth to take place since the play-off/play-out rule has been introduced, and the second since the 2005–06 season to feature 16 teams. CFR Cluj are the four-time defending champions. The play-off/play-out rule is the same as in the previous season, the first six teams at the regular season will qualify for the play-off tournament and the last 10 for the play-out. Club Sportiv LPS HD Clinceni, commonly known as Clinceni and formerly known as ''Academica Clinceni'' is a Romanian amateur football club based in Clinceni, Ilfov County, currently playing in the Liga IV - Ilfov County. Suspended in March 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania, the season resumed on 13 June and effectively ended on 5 August. It was the fifth season to take place since the play-off/play-out rule had been introduced. CFR Cluj were two-time defending champions, and they successfully defended their title once more. Universitatea Craiova contented for the trophy until the final fixture of the championship play-offs, and ultimately finished as runner-ups, while FCSB were unable to claim a top three spot in the table for the first time since the 2010–11 season. Cypriot Super Cup
The Cypriot Super Cup is a Cypriot football trophy, contested in an annual match between the previous season's Cypriot First Division champions, and the Cypriot Cup winners. The match is contested at the beginning of the football season, and is usually played at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia. The most successful team in the competition are Omonia, who have won the trophy on 17 occasions. The current holders are Apollon Limassol, who defeated Omonia 2–0 in the 2022 match. History The first match was played in 1951, under the name Pakkos Shield (Greek: Ασπίδα Πάκκου). The trophy was not awarded to the winner of the match, but would instead be awarded to the overall most successful team in the competition, after 10 matches. The 2018–19 Cypriot First Division was the 80th season of the Cypriot top-level football league. Teams Promotion and relegation (pre-season) Aris Limassol and Ethnikos Achna were relegated at the end of the first-phase of the 2017–18 season after finishing in the bottom two places of the table. The CONMEBOL Libertadores, also known as the Copa Libertadores de América ( pt, Copa Libertadores da América), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 1960. It is the highest level of competition in South American club football.
