Ribeirão Pires (''Pires Stream'') is a city in the Metropolitan Region of the city of São Paulo, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It is part of the " ABC Region” of Greater São Paulo. The population is 124,159 (2020 est.) in an area of 99.1 km2. The elevation is 763 m. Its neighboring cities are Ferraz de Vasconcelos to the north, Suzano to the northeast and east, Rio Grande da Serra to the southeast and south, Santo André southwest, and Mauá northwest. The city is served by trains from Line 10 of CPTM. It became its own municipality in 1953, following its emancipation from Santo André. Floresta Esporte Clube, simply known as Floresta, is a football (soccer) club from Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil. Founded in 1954, it currently plays in the Campeonato Cearense and Campeonato Brasileiro série C. History Founded in 1954, the club only joined the regional championships in 2015, playing in the third division of the Campeonato Cearense and immediately achieving promotion to the second level as runners-up. After two years in the second division, the club finished second in 2017 and achieved promotion to the first tier. The Campeonato Sergipano is the top-flight professional state football league in the Brazilian state of Sergipe. It is run by the Sergipe Football Federation (FSF). Professionalism was introduced into Sergipe football in 1960, with the first state championship involving professional players being held that year.
