Joytime III
''Joytime III'' is the third studio album by American DJ and record producer Marshmello. It was released on July 2, 2019, one day earlier than its planned release date, July 3. The album features collaborations with producers Bellecour, Crankdat, Flux Pavilion, Slushii, Tynan, Wiwek, and Yultron. ''Joytime III'' also features vocals by A Day to Remember, Elohim (musician), Elohim, and Marshmello himself. All 13 songs were released early via a video game release, promoting both the game and the album. Singles "Rescue Me (Marshmello song), Rescue Me", a collaboration with American band A Day to Remember, was released as the first single from the album on June 14, 2019. "Room to Fall", a collaboration with producers Flux Pavilion and Elohim (musician), Elohim, was released as the second single on June 27, 2019. Christopher Comstock (born May 19, 1992), known professionally as Marshmello, is an American electronic music producer and DJ. His songs "Silence", "Wolves", "Friends", " Happier", and " Alone" have been certified multi-platinum in several countries and appeared in the Top 30 of the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. His musical style includes groove-oriented, synth and bass-heavy electronic dance music. He is managed by Moe Shalizi. Christian Smith (born March 2, 1997), known professionally as Crankdat, is an American DJ and electronic dance music producer. Early life Smith grew up desiring to be an athlete, but ultimately turned down a full-ride track-and-field scholarship to Kent State University to pursue music, producing energetic and melodically vibrant electronic dance music as Crankdat. Smith began making music while still in high school. Career Smith originally gained recognition for remixing other artists' tracks, including Fetty Wap's breakout single, "Trap Queen." Eventually these remixes racked up millions of plays and Smith, barely out of his teens, was getting attention from bigger names in electronic dance music such as Skrillex and The Chainsmokers. Joshua Steele (born 15 January 1989) better known by his stage name Flux Pavilion, is an English EDM producer, DJ, singer-songwriter and label owner who has been performing since 2008. Flux Pavilion has headlined three US tours, two UK tours, and several festival DJ sets, including Glastonbury, Reading, Coachella, and EDC Vegas. He has also made live performances with Example, Foreign Beggars and Chiddy Bang. Flux has listed his sound to be inspired by The Prodigy and Rusko. Julian Michael Scanlan (born May 1, 1997), known professionally as Slushii, is an American musician, DJ, singer, songwriter, and record producer based in Los Angeles. He is best known for working with various artists managed by Moe Shalizi, such as Marshmello, Ookay and Jauz, and for gaining support from notable musician and Owsla-record label founder Skrillex. Early life Scanlan grew up in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, Mount Laurel and graduated from Lenape High School in Burlington County, New Jersey. A Day to Remember (often abbreviated ADTR, and previously known as End of an Era) is an American rock band from Ocala, Florida, founded in 2003 by guitarist Tom Denney and drummer Bobby Scruggs. They are known for their amalgamation of metalcore and pop punk. Elohim is an American electropop recording artist, DJ, producer and singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles. Career At the age of five, Elohim began playing the piano and writing songs. She suffered from severe anxiety for most of her life, and has used music as a way to cope. The stage name "Elohim" is one of the Hebrew names for "God".
