Joye Hummel
Joye Evelyn Hummel (April 4, 1924April 5, 2021) was an American comic book author. She is noted for ghost-writing more than 70 "Wonder Woman" stories between 1944 and 1947. Hummel was 19 years old when she began as a typist for the comic. She went on to write its scripts after William Moulton Marston fell ill, and stopped authoring the comics in the same year as his death three years later. Her contributions only became well-known in 2014 after she was interviewed for ''The Secret History of Wonder Woman''. Early life Hummel was born on Long Island on April 4, 1924. Her parents were managers of a grocery store chain, and she was their only child. She attended high school in Freeport, New York, before studying at Middlebury College. After one year, she dropped out of college, intending to keep her mother company after her parents divorced. Joye Estazie (born August 10, 1984) is a Mauritian footballer who currently plays as a defender for AS de Vacoas-Phoenix in the Mauritian League. Career Senior career Estazie started off his professional career in 2006 with PAS Mates of the Mauritian League, where he later served as captain of the team. Gilles Joye (1424 or 1425 – 31 December 1483) was a Franco-Flemish composer of the Renaissance. A member of the Burgundian school, he was known mainly for his secular songs which were in a lyrical and graceful style. Life He may have come from Kortrijk, since an Oliver Joye, possibly his father, has been identified there in 1420. Gilles seems to have had an excellent musical education, probably at either Kortrijk or Bruges, where he was hired as a singer in 1449. Documents from the cathedral archives show that he was often in trouble: engaging in street brawls, frequenting brothels, refusing to take part in regular singing events, and in particular visiting a notorious prostitute of the town named "Rosabelle". George Joye (also Joy and ) (c. 1495 – 1553) was a 16th-century Bible translator who produced the first printed translation of several books of the Old Testament into English (1530–1534), as well as the first English Primer (1529). His life Education He was born Salpho Bury, Renhold, Bedford, Bedfordshire, England, around 1495. He studied at Christ's College, Cambridge where he graduated as Bachelor of Arts (1513 or 1514).
