Joy Brook (born Joy Beadle, 9 May 1969) is an English actress who played Detective Constable Kerry Holmes in ''The Bill'' and Joanne Pearson in ''Peak Practice''. She has also appeared in '' The Thin Blue Line'', ''Dalziel and Pascoe'' episode "Under World", ''Dream Team'' and ''Doctors''. She has been in the short ''Maltesers'' sponsor films that accompany ''Loose Women'' on ''ITV''. Personal life In January 1999, she revealed that she was bisexual and had been sexually involved with women since she was 21. ''The Northern Echo'' is a regional daily morning newspaper based in the town of Darlington in North East England, serving mainly southern County Durham and northern Yorkshire. The paper covers national as well as regional news. In 2007, its then-editor claimed that it was one of the most famous provincial newspapers in the United Kingdom. Its first edition was published on 1 January 1870. Its second editor was W. T. Bill Nicholson (footballer)
William Edward Nicholson (26 January 1919 – 23 October 2004) was an English football player, coach, manager and scout who had a 55 year association with Tottenham Hotspur. He is considered one of the most important figures in the club's history, winning eight major trophies in his 16-year managerial spell, and most notably guiding the team to their Double-winning season of 1960–61.
