Dejan Jović (; born 12 April 1968) is a political scientist from Croatia. He is a full-time professor at the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Zagreb. From 2012 to 2020, Jović was editor-in-chief of the '' Croatian Political Science Review'', one of the leading academic journals of political science and social science in Southeast Europe. He is also one of the founders and editor-in-chief of the peer reviewed journal '' Tragovi: Journal for Serbian and Croatian Topics'' published by the Serb National Council and the Archive of Serbs in Croatia. Dejan Jović is a specialist in Yugoslav and post-Yugoslav politics as well as foreign policies and theories of international relations. Luka Jović ( sr-Cyrl, Лука Јовић; born 23 December 1997) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Fiorentina and the Serbia national team. Early life Jović was born in Loznica, FR Yugoslavia. He was raised in the small village of Batar near Bijeljina, to Bosnian Serb parents Milan and Svetlana Jović. At the age of five, he started playing football in Loznica, where he was spotted in 2004 and offered to play in Mini Maxi, a development league for kids aged between 4 and 12 in Belgrade. Nikola Jović ( sr-Cyrl, Никола Јовић, ; born 9 June 2003) is a Serbian professional basketball player for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was selected 27th overall by the Heat in the 2022 NBA draft. Borisav Jović
Borisav Jović ( sr-Cyrl, Борисав Јовић, ; 19 October 1928 – 13 September 2021) was a Serbian economist, diplomat and politician who served as the President of the Presidency of Yugoslavia from 1990 to 1991. He was Yugoslavia's ambassador to Italy from the mid to late 1970s, was the Serbian representative of the collective Presidency of Yugoslavia during the late 1980s and early 1990s, was the President of the Presidency and was a leading figure in the Socialist Party of Serbia in the 1990s. Jović received his PhD in economics from the University of Belgrade in 1965. He was a fluent speaker of Russian and Italian. Josip Jović (21 November 1969 – 31 March 1991) was a Croatian policeman who was killed during the Plitvice Lakes incident. He is widely considered the first Croatian fatality of the Croatian War of Independence. Jović was born on 21 November 1969 in the village of Aržano, near Imotski, to Filip and Marija Jović. He was raised with four siblings, brother Tomislav and sisters Franka, Mirna and Anita. Dragan Jović (born 19 July 1963) is a Bosnian professional football manager. He is regarded as one of the most successful Bosnian football managers. Ivo Miro Jović (born 15 July 1950) is a Bosnian Croat former politician who served as the 5th Croat member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2005 to 2006. Boban Jović (born 25 June 1991) is a retired Slovenian footballer who played as a defender. Club career Jović started playing football at his local club Šampion, but moved to Aluminij in his teens. Bojan Jović ( sr-cyr, Бојан Јовић; born 1 April 1982) is a Serbian football goalkeeper. Club career Born in Nova Pazova, Jović began playing football in the lower levels of Serbian football. Mirko Jović (Serbian Cyrillic: Мирко Јовић; born 13 August 1959, in Zemun) is a Serbian politician who stood for president of Serbia in the 2004 Serbian presidential election for the Radical Party of People, Serbia, Diaspora and European Bloc.
