José Francisco Valiente Salazar (March 23, 1911 – August 1, 1988) was a Salvadoran politician who was, a member of the Civic-Military Directory The Civic-Military Directory was a political body which ruled El Salvador from 25 January 1961 until 25 January 1962. Its members were: * Aníbal Portillo (whole time) * Feliciano Avelar (whole time) * José Antonio Rodrígu ..., which ruled the country from 25 January 1961 until 25 January 1962. El Salvador (; , meaning " The Saviour"), officially the Republic of El Salvador ( es, República de El Salvador), is a country in Central America. It is bordered on the northeast by Honduras, on the northwest by Guatemala, and on the south by the Pacific Ocean. El Salvador's capital and largest city is San Salvador.
