José Enrique Sánchez Díaz (born 23 January 1986), known as José Enrique, is a Spanish former professional association football, footballer who played as a left-back. Starting his career with Levante UD, Levante, José Enrique was signed by their rivals Valencia CF, Valencia and made La Liga appearances for RC Celta de Vigo, Celta Vigo and Villarreal CF, Villarreal. He then spent nine years in England with Newcastle United F.C., Newcastle United and Liverpool F.C., Liverpool, totalling 161 Premier League appearances. With the latter club, he won the Football League Cup and lost the FA Cup final in 2012. He retired through injury in 2017, after a year back in Spain with Real Zaragoza. José Enrique Pedreira (February 2, 1904 – January 6, 1959) was a Puerto Rican composer noted for danzas. Early years Pedreira was one of four siblings born to José María Pedreira and Rosa Kehrham in San Juan, Puerto Rico. His family, who was financially prosperous, sent him to the best private schools in the island. He began to take private music lessons at a young age. In 1922, he graduated from high school and was sent to New York City, by his parents, to continue his musical education. He enrolled in the music school of Zygmunt Stojowski and learned piano and music composition. José Enrique Camilo Rodó Piñeyro (15 July 1871 – 1 May 1917) was a Uruguayan essayist. José Enrique Ramírez (born September 17, 1992) is a Dominican professional baseball third baseman for the Cleveland Guardians of Major League Baseball (MLB). He signed with the Indians as an amateur free agent on November 26, 2009, and made his MLB debut on September 1, 2013.
