José Couceiro
José Júlio de Carvalho Peyroteo Martins Couceiro (born 4 October 1962) is a Portuguese football manager, currently the national technical director of the Portuguese Football Federation. Managerial career As a manager, Couceiro's career is marked with the relegation of Alverca in the 2003–04 season. He bounced back with a good run with Vitória de Setúbal, and won the best Portuguese coach prize. He then signed for Porto on 1 February 2005, going on to Belenenses during the 2005–06 season. In August 2006, he was appointed manager of the Portugal under-21 national team, reaching positive results in the UEFA Championships. In July 2008, Couceiro was then appointed the head coach of FBK Kaunas, the Lithuanian A Lyga club controlled by Vladimir Romanov. On 5 August 2008, FBK Kaunas, playing in a UEFA Champions League play-off match, defeated 2007–08 UEFA Cup finalists Rangers 2–1 on aggregate to qualify for the third round for the first time in club history. FC Lokomotiv Moscow (''FC Lokomotiv Moskva'', russian: link=no, Футбольный клуб "Локомотив" Москва, ) is a Russian professional football club based in Moscow. 2005–06 In Portuguese Football
The 2005–06 season in Portuguese football saw Porto, led by Co Adriaanse, clinch their 21st title and win the Taça de Portugal. Sporting CP secured second place, which gives them a direct entrance into next season's UEFA Champions League. Benfica had a disappointing season, although they returned to the spotlight of European football with a good run in the Champions League, reaching the quarter-finals. Braga and Nacional challenged Sporting CP, Benfica and Porto for a major part of the season. Nacional, in particular, broke up " Big Three" for most of the season, defeating Sporting 2–1 at home in a memorable victory before ultimately falling away towards the end of the season. Braga finished the season in fourth place and Nacional finished fifth in the table after having slipped all the way to seventh at one point. 2007–08 UEFA Cup
The 2007–08 UEFA Cup was the 37th edition of the UEFA Cup, UEFA's second-tier club football tournament. The final was played at the City of Manchester Stadium, Manchester, England on 14 May 2008 between Rangers of Scotland and Zenit Saint Petersburg of Russia. Zenit won the match 2–0, with goals from Igor Denisov and Konstantin Zyryanov, to claim their first UEFA Cup title.
