Josue Marquez
Josue Marquez Acevedo (November 30, 1946, Hato Rey, Puerto Rico – May 10, 2018) was a Puerto Rican who was once a world title challenging boxer. Not known for his punching power, (Marquez only won 7 of his 46 professional boxing fights by knockout), Marquez nevertheless gave many of the top boxers of his era trouble and managed to defeat a number of them. Amateur boxing career Marquez had an excelling amateur boxing career, which led him to participate at the 1965 Central American and Caribbean Games, held in San Juan and where he boxed all the way to the medals round but was disqualified from further participation because he had problems making the weight for a fight. Hato Rey, Puerto Rico
Hato Rey is a former barrio located in the northwest part of the dissolved municipality of Río Piedras. It now stretches over three barrios, of the municipality of San Juan, Puerto Rico: Urban landscape Its name means "king's cattle farm" ('' hato''). Saensak Muangsurin (แสนศักดิ์ เมืองสุรินทร์) (13 August 1950 – 16 April 2009) was a professional boxer from Phetchabun, Thailand. He was a Muay Thai fighter and professional boxer. The modern International Boxing Hall of Fame (IBHOF), located in Canastota, New York, honors boxers, trainers and other contributors to the sport worldwide. Inductees are selected by members of the Boxing Writers Association of America.
