Joshua Penn (born November 25, 2000) is an American professional soccer player who plays for Portland Timbers 2 in MLS Next Pro. Career On February 21, 2019, Penn joined USL Championship side Indy Eleven on an USL academy contract. He stayed with the club prior to playing college soccer at Indiana University. Following one season with the Hoosiers, Penn returned to Indy Eleven, signing a professional contract with the club on August 25, 2020. Penn was eligible for the 2021 MLS SuperDraft The 2021 MLS SuperDraft was the 22nd edition of the SuperDraft conducted by Major League Soccer. Munster is a suburban town in North Township, Lake County, Indiana, United States. It is in the Chicago metropolitan area, approximately southeast of the Chicago Loop, and shares municipal boundaries with Hammond to the north, Highland to the east, Dyer and Schererville to the south, and Lansing and Lynwood directly west of the Illinois border. The 2019 USL Championship season is the ninth season of the USL Championship and third under Division II sanctioning. This is the first season in which the league is operating under the name "USL Championship," having used the name "United Soccer League" through 2018. The season began on March 8, 2019, and concluded on October 20, 2019; with each team playing 34 matches. 36 teams competed in the 2019 USL Championship season, split into 2 conferences of 18 teams each.
