Joshua Kaindoh (born December 27, 1998) is an American football defensive end who is a free agent. He played college football at Florida State and was drafted by the Chiefs in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL draft. Professional career Kaindoh was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth round, 144th overall, of the 2021 NFL draft. He signed his four-year rookie contract on May 13, 2021. He was placed on injured reserve on October 5, 2021. He was activated on January 12, 2022. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. The injured reserve list ( IR list) is a designation used in North American professional sports leagues for athletes who suffer injuries and become unable to play. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB).
