Josh Taylor (born September 25, 1943) is an American actor. He is known for playing Chris Kositchek and Roman Brady on the American dramatic serial '' Days of Our Lives'', Jack McKay on the teen drama ''Beverly Hills, 90210'' and as Michael Hogan, the father on the situation comedy ''The Hogan Family''. Early life and education Born in Princeton, Illinois as Tommy Tim Taylor and known as "Timmy", Taylor moved with his family to Chillicothe, Illinois when he was two years old. His dad became athletic director of Chillicothe Township High School (now Illinois Valley Central High School) as well as a respected football coach, and both Josh and older brother Ron played quarterback under him. Joshua Earl Taylor (born March 2, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Boston Red Sox. He is the WBO and ''Ring'' magazine light-welterweight world champion, having held the ''Ring'' title since 2019, and the WBO title since 2021. He previously held the WBA (Super) title from 2019 to May 2022; the WBC title from 2021 to July 2022; and the IBF title from 2019 to August 2022. Joshua Taylor (1881 – 28 September 1957) was an English professional golfer, the younger brother of J. H. Taylor. He played in the 1913 England–Scotland Professional Match and for Great Britain in the Ryder Cup#Gleneagles 1921, 1921 match against America. Early life Taylor was born Northam, Devon in 1881, 10 years after his brother J. H. Taylor. Golf career Playing with his brother J.H. Taylor, J.H., he won the Southern Professional Foursomes Tournament in 1910. The event was played in late January at Stoke Poges.
