Josh Primeau (born November 14, 1990) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is currently playing with the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers of the National League (NL). Primeau holds a Swiss player license which allows him to play in the National League as a non-import player. Primeau made his National League A debut playing with Lausanne HC during the 2013–14 NLA season. SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers
The SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers are a professional ice hockey club from Rapperswil, Switzerland and are members of the National League. History The Lakers were founded in 1945 and were known as SC Rapperswil-Jona until 2005, when the club changed its name to Rapperswil-Jona Lakers and then again changed their name to SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers in 2015. They play their home games at St. Galler Kantonalbank Arena. NHL veteran Doug Gilmour skated for the Lakers during the NHL lockout-shortened season in 1994. Kevin Primeau
Kevin Primeau (born January 3, 1955 in Edmonton, Alberta) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played two games in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Vancouver Canucks. He also played seven games in the World Hockey Association with the Edmonton Oilers. Primeau also represented Canada at the 1980 Winter Olympics where he scored 4 goals and 1 assist in 6 games. He is later served as the head coach of the Swiss team HC La Chaux-de-Fonds. He also was the head coach of the Hungarian team Alba Volán Székesfehérvár, and the Hungarian national team. In university, he played for the University of Alberta Golden Bears from 1974–75 to 1977–78; the Golden Bears won the national CIAU University Cup championship in 1975 and 1978, with Primeau winning the Major W.J. "Danny" McLeod Award in 1978, as Most Valuable Player of the national championship tournament. The Fernie Ghostriders are a junior 'B' ice hockey team based in Fernie, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the Eddie Mountain Division of the Kootenay Conference of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL).
