Joshua Thomas March (born 18 March 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Harrogate Town. Career Born in Stourbridge, March began his career with Alvechurch, becoming the club's first contracted player in a decade in May 2017, and scoring 81 goals in 184 matches, being described as "an integral part in he club'srise from the Midland Alliance to the Southern Premier ". He then played for Leamington for the 2019–20 season, scoring 24 goals in 27 games, before signing for League Two side Forest Green Rovers in January 2020. He missed the start of the 2020–21 season due to a thigh injury. On 5 January 2021, March joined League Two side Harrogate Town on loan until the end of the 2020–21 season. His loan ended on 11 March 2021 after he suffered an injury in a match. He signed for Stevenage in January 2023. Stourbridge is a market town in the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley in the West Midlands, England, situated on the River Stour. Historically in Worcestershire, it was the centre of British glass making during the Industrial Revolution. The 2011 UK census recorded the town's population as 63,298. 2018–19 Southern Football League
The 2018–19 season is the 116th in the history of the Southern League since its establishment in 1894. The league (known as Evo-Stik League Southern, following a sponsorship deal with Evo-Stik) has two Premier divisions (Central and South) at step 3 of the National League System (NLS) and two Division One divisions (Central and South) at step 4 of the NLS. This is the first season to consist of four divisions in the league, following a shakeup of the Southern, Isthmian, and Northern Premier Leagues divisions by geographical region. The English Football League Trophy, known for sponsorship purposes as the Papa Johns Trophy after restaurant chain Papa John's Pizza, is an annual English association football knockout competition open to all clubs in EFL League One and EFL League Two, with the addition of 16 under-21 teams from Premier League and EFL Championship clubs since the 2016–17 season. The Birmingham Senior Cup is a football competition for Birmingham County FA club teams, organised by the Birmingham County Football Association. It began in 1876 and is the oldest county cup competition still active. The Birmingham Senior Cup is a regional cup contest, which has featured all of the West Midlands' big clubs, Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Burton Albion, Coventry City, Port Vale, Stoke City, West Bromwich Albion, Walsall and Wolverhampton Wanderers. FA Trophy
The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system.
