Josh Magette
Josh Magette (born November 28, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for the Tasmania JackJumpers of the Australian National Basketball League (NBL). He played college basketball for the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Early life Born in Birmingham, Alabama, he graduated from Spain Park High School in Hoover, Alabama. He spent his collegiate career at the University of Alabama in Huntsville where he led the Chargers to three Gulf South Conference championships and two NCAA Men's Division II Basketball Championship Elite Eight appearances. He ended his career as the school's and the Gulf South Conference's all-time leader in assists. The NBA D-League All-Star Game was an annual exhibition basketball game held by the NBA Development League (D-League). The D-League was founded in 2001 as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) and later as the NBA Development League. The Alabama–Huntsville Chargers (also UAH Chargers) are the athletic teams that represent the University of Alabama in Huntsville, located in Huntsville, Alabama, in intercollegiate sports at the Division II level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Gulf South Conference men's basketball tournament is the annual conference basketball championship tournament for the Gulf South Conference. The tournament has been held annually since 1981. It is a single-elimination tournament and seeding is based on regular season records. The Gulf South Conference (GSC) is a college athletic conference affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division II level, which operates in the Southeastern United States. NCAA Division II (D-II) is an intermediate-level division of competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). It offers an alternative to both the larger and better-funded Division I and to the scholarship-free environment offered in Division III. The Dutch Basketball League (DBL), formerly the Eredivisie, was the highest professional basketball league in the Netherlands, run by the Federatie Eredivisie Basketball (FEB). The 2017–18 NBA G League season was the 17th season of the NBA G League (formerly the NBA D-League), the minor league for the National Basketball Association (NBA). The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization.
