Josh Herrin
Josh Herrin (born May 23, 1990), is an Americans, American professional Motorcycle Racer#Road racing, motorcycle road racer who turned pro in 2006. He currently competes in the MotoAmerica Supersport Championship for the Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati NYC team. Racing history Amateur career Herrin was born in Glendale, California to Phil and Kim Herrin and is the older brother of professional stock car racing driver Zach Herrin. Josh turned professional in 2006 a year after winning a WERA 600 National Championship. Prior to winning the 2004 USGPRU 125 title at age 14, he had raced mini bikes and Yamaha YSR50s and was invited to compete in the World Mini GP Festival in Valencia, Spain. Professional career In 2006, Herrin raced a limited AMA Pro SuperSport season, but earned a podium finish at Miller Motorsports Park and took four additional top-10 finishes in the series at a young age of 16. The 2014 Qatar motorcycle Grand Prix was the first round of the 2014 MotoGP season. It was held at the Losail International Circuit in Doha on 23 March 2014. In the MotoGP class, Marc Márquez began his title defence with a victory ahead of Valentino Rossi and teammate Dani Pedrosa. Rossi's teammate, Jorge Lorenzo led at the start but then crashed and had his bike destroyed in the gravel trap. The 2014 FIM Moto2 World Championship was a part of the 66th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Pol Espargaró was the reigning series champion, but did not contest the season as he joined the series' premier class, MotoGP. Scoring a record tally of points for the intermediate class, with 346, Marc VDS Racing Team rider Esteve Rabat wound up as the series champion, finishing 57 points clear of his teammate Mika Kallio.
