Josh Heard
Joshua David Heard (born 29 November 1994) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for and captains Pacific FC of the Canadian Premier League. Early life Heard was born in Cardiff, Wales and moved to Victoria, Canada when he was three. Heard played youth soccer with Lakehill Soccer Association. He also played for Victoria Metro and the Victoria Highlanders. He had been invited to train with the Vancouver Whitecaps Academy, but he elected to attend college and play college soccer instead. College career In 2012, Heard began attending the University of Washington, where he played for the men's soccer team. He had been recruited to the school after impressing the team's coaching staff when they saw him playing in a youth match, which they were attending to watch two members of the opposing team who had committed to joining Washington. Bethlehem Steel FC
Philadelphia Union II is an American professional soccer team based in Chester, Pennsylvania competing in MLS Next Pro. Founded in 2015 as Bethlehem Steel FC, the team is the official affiliate of the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer. The team competed for five seasons in the USL Championship (the first three as Bethlehem Steel FC) before going on hiatus from competition during the 2021 season. The Gonzaga Bulldogs Men's Soccer program represents Gonzaga University in all NCAA Division I men's college soccer competitions. The Bulldogs play in the West Coast Conference. The Bulldogs are coached by Paul Meehan, who took over the head coaching position on January 1, 2018, from Einar Thorarinsson. Thorarinsson had coached the team since he joined them in 1995 from Whitworth College. During his tenure they were transformed from a mediocre team, in 1994 they had gone 2-13-1, into an annual contender for the WCC men's soccer crown. The USL Championship (USLC) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that began its inaugural season in 2011. The USL is sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer) as a Division II league since 2017, placing it under Major League Soccer (Division I) in the hierarchy. Vancouver Whitecaps Football Club is a Canadian professional soccer team based in Vancouver. They compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member club of the league's Western Conference. The MLS iteration of the club was established on March 18, 2009, and began play in 2011 as the 17th team to enter Major League Soccer while replacing the USSF Division 2 team of the same name in the city, making them a phoenix club and the third to carry the Whitecaps name. USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional developmental association football, soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada, forming part of the United States soccer league system. The league features 113 teams for 2022, split into sixteen regional divisions across four conferences. USL League Two is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. The 2016 MLS SuperDraft was the seventeenth SuperDraft conducted by Major League Soccer. The SuperDraft is held each year in conjunction with the annual National Soccer Coaches Association of America convention. The 2016 convention was held in Baltimore, Maryland. It seems that individual teams will be doing their own trials instead. 2013 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament
The 2013 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament was the 55th edition of the tournament. The four team College Cup finals tournament was held at PPL Park in Chester, Pennsylvania on December 13 and 15, 2013. On December 15, Notre Dame defeated Maryland, 2–1, to win its first national title. Qualified Teams A total of 48 teams qualified into the tournament proper, either automatically, or through an at-large bid that is determined by a selection committee. Each conference that field varsity soccer teams is awarded one automatic berth into the tournament.
