Josephine Oluseyi Williams (born 3 April 1956) is a Nigerian financial expert, Public administration, Public administrator and former Lagos State Head of Service. Early life Josephine was born in Lagos State, southwestern Nigeria. She attended the University of Lagos where she received a bachelor's degree in accounting and a post graduate diploma in computer science. Civil service She joined the Nigerian Civil Service on February 15, 1980, as an accountant after she completed the compulsory one-year National Youth Service Corps, Youth Service. After she spent five years at the Federal Housing Authority, she joined the Lagos State Civil Service as Chief Accountant before she got a transfer to the Lagos State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban as Director of Accounts. The Lagos State Head of Service is the highest rank of the Lagos State Civil Service. The appointment is often confirmed by the Governor of Lagos State subject to the approval of the State House of Assembly. National Youth Service Corps
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is a program set up by the Nigerian government during the military regime to involve Nigerian graduates in nation-building and the development of the country. There is no military conscription in Nigeria, but since 1973 graduates of universities and later polytechnics have been required to take part in the National Youth Service Corps program for one year. This is known as national service year. Ahmadu Ali served as the first Director-General of the NYSC until 1975. The incumbent Director-General is Mohammed Kaku Fadah. Babatunde Raji Fashola ( yo, Bàbátúndé Rájí Fáṣọlá; born 28 June 1963) is a Nigerian lawyer and politician currently serving as the Federal Minister of Works and Housing of Nigeria. The University of Lagos, popularly known as UNILAG, is a public research university located in Lagos, Nigeria and was founded in 1962. UNILAG is one of the first generation universities in Nigeria and is ranked among the top universities in the world in major education publications.
