Josephine Mathias
Josephine Mathias (born 16 December 1999) is a Nigerian women's football midfielder, who played in the Turkish Women's First Football League for Trabzon İdmanocağı with jersey number 16. Mathias played in her country for Nasarawa Amazons. By March 2018, she moved to Turkey and joined Trabzon İdmanocağı to play in the 2017-18 Turkish Women's First Football League. She capped six times in total, and left the team after thet were relegated to the Women's Second League. Returned to Nigeria, she signed first with Rivers Angels, and transferred then to her former club to Nasarawa Amazons. 2020 CAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament
The 2020 CAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament was the fifth edition of the CAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament, the quadrennial international football competition organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to determine which women's national teams from Africa qualify for the Olympic football tournament. CAF was given 1.5 places for the 2020 Summer Olympics women's football tournament in Japan. The winner of the qualifying tournament, Zambia, qualified directly, while runner-up Cameroon entered a play-off against the second-placed team from CONMEBOL, Chile. The Turkish Women's Second Football League ( tr, Kadınlar 2. Futbol Ligi) is the third tier league competition for women's association football in Turkey. Format Teams promoted to Women's First League Format As of 2021-22 Season, 26 teams compete for promoting to 1st League. They were divided into four groups according to their geographical location. In each group, teams play against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format. The group winners and runners-up promote to 1st League,third teams in groups advance to the promotion play-offs.
