Joseph Wiseman
Joseph Wiseman (May 15, 1918 – October 19, 2009) was a Canadian-American theatre, film, and television actor who starred as the villain Julius No in the first James Bond (film series), James Bond film, ''Dr. No (film), Dr. No'' in 1962. Wiseman was also known for his role as Manny Weisbord on the TV series ''Crime Story (U.S. TV series), Crime Story'', and his career on Broadway theatre, Broadway. He was once called "the spookiest actor in the American theatre." ''Abe Lincoln in Illinois'' is a play written by the American playwright Robert E. Sherwood in 1938. The play, in three acts, covers the life of President Abraham Lincoln from his childhood through his final speech in Illinois before he left for Washington. The play also covers his romance with Mary Todd and his debates with Stephen A. Douglas, and uses Lincoln's own words in some scenes. Sherwood received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1939 for his work. Herschel Saltzman (; – ), known as Harry Saltzman, was a Canadian theatre and film producer. He is best remembered for co-producing the first nine of the ''James Bond'' film series with Albert R. Broccoli. He lived most of his life in Denham, Buckinghamshire, England. Early life Saltzman was born in a hospital in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, the son of Jewish immigrants Abraham Saltzman and Dora Horstein.
