Joseph McGann
Joseph McGann (born 1988), who goes under the aliases of Kahn and Gorgon Sound, is a British grime and dubstep record producer and DJ of the Bristol underground scene. Alongside frequent collaborator Neek, he founded record label Bandulu and is a member of Young Echo. His initial forays into DJing started with his night Sureskank, which was one of the first nights that brought dubstep and grime to Bristol. More recently, he has put on nights as a part of the experimental Bristol collective Young Echo. He has had multiple releases on the dubstep label Deep Medi Musik, including "Dread", "Abattoir" and the ''Volume 1'' LP with Gantz and Commodo. Fabric (club)
Fabric (stylized as fabric) is a nightclub in Farringdon, London, England. Founded in 1999 on Charterhouse Street opposite Smithfield Market, the club was voted World Number 1 Club in DJ Magazine's "Top 100 Clubs Poll" in 2007 and 2008 and ranked World Number 2 in 2009, 2010 and 2017. Fabric was closed down and its licence was revoked by Islington Council in 2016, after two drug-related deaths at the club. Following a campaign to save the club it was permitted to be reopened with increased security and restrictions. History The club was founded by Keith Reilly and Cameron Leslie and opened on 29 October 1999. Fabric occupied the renovated space of the Metropolitan Cold Stores. Paul McGann
Paul John McGann (; born 14 November 1959) is an English actor. He came to prominence for portraying Percy Toplis in the television serial ''The Monocled Mutineer'' (1986), then starred in the dark comedy ''Withnail and I'' (1987), which was a critical success and developed a cult following. McGann later became more widely known for portraying the eighth incarnation of the Doctor in the 1996 ''Doctor Who'' television film. Bristol Underground Scene
The Bristol underground scene was a cultural movement in Bristol beginning in the early 1980s. The scene was born out of a lack of mainstream clubs catering for the emergence of hip hop music, with street and underground parties a mainstay. Crews formed playing hip hop in disused venues with sound systems borrowed from the reggae scene: City Rockers, 2 Bad, 2 Tuff, KC Rock, UD4, FBI, Dirty Den, Juice Crew, Rene & Bacus, Soul Twins, KC Rock, Fresh 4, and The Wild Bunch were among them.
