Major General Joseph "Joe" Lutz (April 17, 1933 – May 9, 1999) was a two star general in the United States Army. He played an important role in getting increased recognition for Special Operations in the U.S. Military. Early life Joseph Lutz was born April 17, 1933, in Indianapolis Indiana. An All-State Tail Back for Cathedral High School (Indianapolis), Cathedral High School, he accepted a scholarship to St. Norbert College where he earned Catholic League All-American Honors at the same position. His designation as the Distinguished Military Graduate of the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps program at St. Norbert College in 1955 was a sign of things to come. After his required 4 years of service, he was offered tryouts with the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers, but opted to continue his Military Service. Cathedral High School (Indianapolis)
Cathedral High School is a private Catholic high school in Indianapolis, Indiana. The school serves approximately 1,200 students in grades 9 to 12. The school was founded in Archdiocese of Indianapolis by Bishop Joseph Chartrand in 1918 and was run by the Brothers of Holy Cross until it became independent by the late 1970s. Holy Cross returned to the school in 2011. History The school was founded as a boys high school by the Brothers of Holy Cross in 1918. In the 1970s, with the departure of the Brothers, a non-profit trust was developed by Robert V. Welch, other parents, and a lay board in an effort to keep Cathedral alive. As part of that change, the school moved from its longtime home in downtown Indianapolis to its present location at 56th and Emerson streets, the site of the former all-girls Ladywood St. Agnes Academy. Clearwater Beach includes a resort area and a residential area on a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico in Pinellas County on the west-central coast of Florida. Located just west over the Intracoastal Waterway by way of the Clearwater Memorial Causeway from the rest of the city of Clearwater, Florida, of which it is part, Clearwater Beach is at a geographic latitude of 27.57 N and longitude 82.48 W.
