Joseph Lalfakzuala
Joseph Lalfakzuala (born 16 August 1995) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Shillong Lajong in the I-League. Career Born in Mizoram, Lalfakzuala started his career in Mizoram with Chanmari before joining the AIFF Elite Academy. After spending some time with the Elite Academy, Lalfakzuala signed with Shillong Lajong of the I-League. He made his professional debut with the club on 29 December 2014 in the Federation Cup against Pune. He came on as a 78th-minute substitute for Jacob Lalrawngbawla as Shillong Lajong lost the match 1–3. Mizoram
Mizoram () is a state in Northeast India, with Aizawl as its seat of government and capital city. The name of the state is derived from "Mizo people, Mizo", the endonym, self-described name of the native inhabitants, and "Ram", which in the Mizo language means "land." Thus "Mizo-ram" means "land of the Mizos". AFC U-19 Championship
The AFC U-20 Asian Cup, formerly known as the AFC Youth Championship and AFC U-19 Championship, is a biennial international association football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the men's under-20 national teams of Asia. The competition has been held since 1959. Between 1959 and 1978, the tournament was held annually (without qualification); since 1980, it has been held every two years. The 1980 AFC Youth Championship had a qualification stage for first time. The tournament has been played in a number of different formats during its existence. Currently, it consists of two stages, similar to the AFC's other Asian Championship competitions. The qualifying stage is open to all AFC members and the final stage is contested between 16 teams. The most recent edition, the 40th, was held in Indonesia. The AFC have proposed switching the tournament from under-19 to under-20 starting from 2023. 2014–15 I-League
The 2014–15 I-League (known as the ''Hero I-League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the eighth season of the I-League, the Indian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2007. The India national under-20 football team, also known as India Under-20s or India U20(s), represents India at all under-20 football tournaments. They act as the main feeder team for the India national under-23 football team and the senior India national football team. Jacob Lalrawngbawla (born 8 June 1995) is an Indian football player playing for Shillong Lajong in the I-League in India as a midfielder. Career Shillong Lajong Jacob is a youth product of Shillong Lajong. He joined the youth set up in 2010. A talented youngster, Jacob was selected for a training camp in FC Bayern Munich in July 2011.
