Joseph Francis Connor (December 8, 1874 – November 8, 1957) was an American right-handed Major League Baseball catcher. A native of Waterbury, Connecticut, he played for four seasons in Major League Baseball, including stints with the St. Louis Browns in , the Boston Beaneaters in , the Milwaukee Brewers and Cleveland Blues in , and the New York Highlanders in . Major league career Joe Connor made his major league debut with the St. Louis Browns at Robison Field on September 9, 1895, and spent the 1895 season playing alongside his brother, Roger Connor. At the end his rookie season, Connor didn't play major league baseball again for five years, when he was released from the St. Louis Browns in 1900. Before the 1901 season, Connor played for the Boston Beaneaters. Connor also played for the Milwaukee Brewers in the 1901 season. On July 22, 1901, Connor was released by the Milwaukee Brewers. Maurice Joseph John Connor (26 September 1877 – 1934) was an Irish footballer who played as an inside right at both club and international levels. Early life Maurice Joseph John Connor was born on 26 September 1877 in Philipstown, Ireland. Joseph Connor (born 1 February 1986) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder. Career College Connor came from his native England to the United States in 2004, where he subsequently played four years of college soccer at Lee University. He was named to the All-Conference Southern Athletic Conference team as a junior in 2006. Professional Connor signed with Charlotte Eagles out of college in 2008, and made his professional debut on 8 August 2008, as a second-half substitute in a game against Cleveland City Stars. In December 2011 he joined Stockport County on non-contract basis, a club both his father and grandfather had played for, he made his debut against Alfreton Town on 17 December 2011 and kept a clean sheet in a 0–0 draw. Joseph James Connors (born February 5, 1945 in New York City) is an Americans, American art historian and educator, who specializes in the Italian Renaissance and Baroque architecture. Career Born in New York City, Connors was graduated from Regis High School (New York City), Regis High School in Manhattan. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Boston College in 1966. Two years later, Connors received a Marshall Scholarship to study at Clare College, Cambridge, Clare College at the University of Cambridge for a year. After a period teaching Greek and Latin at the Boston Latin School, Connors studied with Ernst Kitzinger and James S. Ackerman in the Department of Fine Arts of Harvard University (Ph.D. 1978). Joseph Conners (born 28 May 1987) is an English professional wrestler. Conners competed in many British wrestling promotions, most notably New Generation Wrestling (NGW) and What Culture Pro Wrestling (WCPW), where he was a one-time WCPW Champion. In 2017 and 2018 he took part in WWE's UK Championship Tournament, and until 2021 competed on WWE's NXT UK brand.
